It all started in Scandinavia. Copenhagen,
Denmark that is.
In Denmark I learned independance at a very
early age. After completing high school at the
age of 16, my family packed my bags and put
me on a iceburg, said their goodbyes, wished
me well and told me to call from time to time.
They never expected I would float as far as
the United States. When they received a postcard
from New York City concerning my whereabouts,
my parents didn't even know I was missing.
Upon floating as far south as Florida, my iceburg
melted, so I decided to extend my stay in the
Sunshine State.
Anyway, my mother was the creative and talented
one. She painted porcelain plates, knitted,
sewed, and much more. I remember watching her
cook a meal, read a book, and knit a sweater,
all simultaneously. Fortunately, many of her
talents were embedded in my DNA.
So, here I am painting wall murals with my own
creative style. I call it "Marianne's Kunst."
Kunst (pronounced like the word "cone"
with an "-st" on the end) is the Danish
word for "art."
If you like what you see, and have a wall you
just don't know what to do with, perhaps a mural
is right for you. Call me for further information:
