There's a ferris wheel spinning 'round
Near the corner store where it's going down, it is going down
And she'll break as he bleeds
Seems like yesterday, just a child with a dream
But this world shook him round, tore the dreamer down,
And left him crying out for more
And she tried so hard to save him
She'd cry "Run baby, run! Run baby, run!
Don't you let them take you down!"
Hear the shots ring out
Feel the darkness fall
She'll cry "Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh
Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah"
See the street lights glow
Over Madison Street
Watch the world go blind as the threats pour down
Threats are pouring down
'Cause nobody saw nothing
That's the way it's gotta be
If you wanna see another day, you keep your mouth shut
You say you never saw a thing
See the children run
As the lights go out
They cry "Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh
Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah"
There's a carnival near Madison Street
The roller coaster ride will turn you upside down
Turn you upside down
"Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh
Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah"
Ad lib. . .
